Engineering Experiences

The Engineering Experiences (EEs) are open-ended and cross-professional tasks. They call on a wide range of management and communication techniques.

You learn to work as a member of a team, and as a coach of a team. A team of assistants, teachers, researchers, enterprisers, and/or seniors is available to coach you and to teach you to reflect and develop your own skills.

For each experience, you can choose, within a specific theme, the concrete product that you will analyze or create.

EEs also consider environmental, social, ethical, and culutral aspects, and aim at a holistic approach.

Both the complexity and the realistic nature of the experiences increase over time:

  • 1st program stage: You are introduced for the first time to engineers, companies and stakeholders, and to the dynamics of teams.
  • 2nd program stage: To stimulate creative, innovative, and educational aspects, the teams compete with each other and present their creations to a wider audience. The focus is on creating.
  • 3rd program stage: Each team works out a real-life engineering project under the auspices of a company for the bachelor project.

The Engineering Experiences are of such a nature that the engineer's diverse competences are actively called upon. You discover the essence of what it is like to be an engineer.
