The 5 Es are a running theme throughout the curriculum. The students explore the various roles that they will play as a 5E-engineer within a company and in society. This is accomplished in a very unique way through seminars, tasks, and learning experiences centering on one theme:
- Natural Capitalism
- Emergent Systems
- Ecological Footprint
Each theme is approached integrally from Engineering, Enterprising, Educating, Environmenting, and Ensembling perspectives.
