The mock exams for the first year bachelor are scheduled around the seventh week of the academic year. They are optional and serve the following purposes:
- enabling the students at the beginning of the academic year to establish whether they are developing a sufficiently high study tempo, are using an efficient study method and have developed adequate insight into the subject matters discussed;
- giving the students an introduction to the examination system and the phrasing of the questions, and a chance to take examinations free of obligations;
- establishing adequate guidance through which certain lacunae in the study tempo, study method, insight in the subject matter and taking examinations can be detected in time and remedied.
