The Learning Network allows you to start building a network in the business world during your studies. That's getting a head start.

Discover your inner entrepreneur

"Beyond Engineering also means discovering the entrepreneurs' talent in yourself," explains Prof. Guido Vercammen, head of the Management Unit. "Group T and VOKA-Chamber of Commerce and Industry Leuven have set up the Engineering-Entrepreneurs Learning Network to stimulate just that. It's a unique initiative, fully supported by the Flemish ministers of economy and education. The network aims to stimulate entrepreneurship among up-and-coming engineers by putting them in touch—as early as possible—with engineers who are also entrepreneurs."

An entrepreneur as a coach

Imelda Vanderwegen, Learning Network coordinator, summarizes the activities of the network: "Spending a day with an engineer, visiting companies, attending guest lectures by entrepreneurs, an exciting management game, and a real business project toward the end of the bachelor program. For each of these, engineers/entrepreneurs from the network act as coaches."
