I definitely had to get used to doing everything in English. During the classes, it wasn't not always easy for me to understand everything in one go. But the professors go through great lengths to accommodate our questions and requests, so that’s alright.
Another eye-opener is the content of the classes. For the first time, I wasn't only learning about things relating directly to teaching practice. The courses also broadened my view on the world; they widened my horizon.
I plan to complete my studies in the Netherlands, but I will most certainly also look into what opportunities UNESCO has in store.
