Throughout the master curriculum, the collaboration with entrepreneurs is established through:
- specialized company visits
- labs and practical sessions within the company
- the master’s thesis (and the Entrepreneurial Engineering Experience if you choose the 2-year formula)
Master’s thesis
The master’s thesis starts from a concrete research question and/or a complex problem from professional practice. The client is a company, research institute, university, or organization at home or abroad.
Throughout the project, you are coached by a supervisor within the university college and a co-supervisor from the client company or organization.
You draw up a report on the issue, the methods used, and the results achieved which you then present to a jury composed of professors and experts from the business world.

Entrepreneurial Engineering Experience
If you choose the two-year formula you gain extra experience in a professional context independently and over a longer period—we call this the Entrepreneurial Engineering Experience.
The professional environment becomes a fully-fledged learning environment allowing you to better antipicate professional practice.
Both you and the entrepreneurs are urged to innovate, to transfer knowledge, and to valorize. In other words, it is a unique cross-fertilization between the univeristy college and the company.
