Just like the one-year formula, the two-year formula of the Master in Engineering at Group T draws on Engineering Content and 5E-Context, but it extends the Engineering Experiences turning them into a full-blown Entrepreneurial Engineering Experience (EEE).
Entrepreneurial Engineering Experience
A substantial part is reserved for the EEE, an extended learning experience in and with a company. At the core of this experience lies an innovative engineering challenge. This challenge is taken on as a team, is international, and, if required, multidisciplinary. Both you and the entrepreneurs are urged to innovate, to transfer knowledge, and to valorize. In other words, it is a unique cross-fertilization between the university college and the company.
Engineering Content
Together with your supervisor, you choose a number of domain-specific scientific and technological course units to support the EEE. The content of these course units should at least be relevant to the EEE. You can also select an elective.
5E-Context
These course units have been inspired by the 5E-Concept. They aim to maximally stimulate the creativity, innovative nature, social involvement, and sustainable development of the 5E-engineer. Themes include:
- Engineering: converging and emerging technologies
- Educating: human-centered design, human-machine interaction, low-cost engineering
- Enterprising: innovation management
- Environmenting: whole system design and engineering (related to sustainable engineering)
- Ensembling: mindful engineering
