Work by the Korean artist Esther Eun-Suk Yeon will be on display in the Vesalius Campus till September 4, 2010.

Through her works of art, Esther Eun-Suk Yeon looks for the identity of human beings, whose analog brain is overwhelmed by digitalization. She tries to make connections between the analog and the digital world. In an attempt to hold on to memories, she weaves vinyl tubes filled with newspaper and magazine strips to form monumental 2- or 3-dimensional objects.
Esther Eun-Suk Yeon graduated from the Fine Arts School at Hong-Ik University in Seoul, Korea in 1984. She continued her education at the Sorbonne in Paris. On returning to Korea, she developed her own, innovative style, which brought her to exhibitions worldwide. She also teaches at the Sangmyung University and the Kyung Hee University in Seoul, and at the Mokwon University in Daejon.
The exhibit is part of the commencement of the Group T-Leuven Education College's graduates, in particular those of the International Education Class (IEC).
