Entrepreneurs' Day

In spite of the current crisis and diminishing job market, 80 companies registered for the 2010 Entrepreneurs' Day at Group T. This represented less than a 10% drop in registrations compared to 2009.

Amongst the particpants were multinationals, SMEs, recruitment agencies, and government agencies. Unlike the previous years, the banks, the car manufacturers, and the chemical companies were not present. Thanks to the cooperation of VOKA-Leuven, Chamber of Commerce, the Leuven business world was well-represented.

The Group T Entrepreneurs' Day has long outreached regional boundaries, though. The presence of international students—20% of our students is Asian—turned it into a truly international event. Their profiles are of special interest to companies who want to or have already entered the global marketplace.

Special attention was paid to the preparation of the participants. The entrepreneurs could consult an online database of our students' CVs beforehand. Students had access to the offering of projects and jobs. They were also offered a training in how to apply for a job by a professional recruitment agency the day itself.
