Group T supports one of the festival's installations: P.S.: by Asselberghs and Fairuz. The postscript accompanying their video letter to Steve Jobs (Apple) reveals all the parts of the laptop that is dismantled in Dear Steve. This collection of data expands whenever the framework of this installation is filled in by others.
A first phase in this process begins in 2011, with students from Group T. They will bring new points of view to the use and function of portable computers through interviews with laptop users, found footage and image fragments, graphic and cartographic data, historiologies, statistics, numeric material, text, sound...
Group T entered into a partnership with STUK in 2008. All students can use their STUK membership card to receive discounts on performances. Students from the Leuven Engineering College created a work of art with Julien Maire for the 2009 Artefact Festival. In 2010, Jens Wunderling used Vesalius Campus as a projection screen in Tweetscrean.
Artefact is an initiative of the Province of Flemish-Brabant in collaboration with STUK Arts Center. The festival programs performances, exhibitions, conferences, and music all linked to old and new media.
