Who remembers Raymond Ceulemans making caroms in smoky halls and becoming world champion 35 times? Meanwhile, there is a smoking ban in three-cushion billiards and Belgium has several women at play as well. The game is played by caroming the cue ball off both object balls with at least three rail cushions being contacted before hitting the second object ball. One of Belgium’s players is Jaimie Buelens who is following a bachelor program in Technical Subjects in GROUP T’s teacher training program. She was also one of the four that was allowed to participate in the Belgian Championship in January 2010 where she made 2nd place. In 2009, she even made Belgian champion in this discipline for the first time.
