Then it was the carillon's turn

Richard de Waardt certainly knows the chimes. This passionate study mentor in the teacher training program at GROUP T also happens to be a gifted carillon player. Beneath the chiming bells, he brings color and sound to the streets and squares, instilling them in the hearts and minds of passers-by. He led us up 289 steps, high into the tower of the Leuven university library for a private concert played on one of the most beautiful carillons in the world, praised everywhere for its sweet choral euphony and warm timbre.
