The arrival of spring saw a huge amount of Group T students and staff leave on study trips and recruitment missions.
Study trips
Over 100 bachelor students and staff from the Leuven Engineering College are staying in China till April 11 for the 10th edition of the China Project. They visit Chinese universities and companies, and mingle with local students.
Leuven Education College on the other hand gives its students and staff a chance to become acquainted with the Indonesian educational system of Java and Bali over the Easter break during the Asian Project. They visit schools, attend classes, and visit Indonesian students in their homes. A number of them participate in research into education in Indonesia for their theworld@groupt project.
Internships
About 40 teacher trainees represent Group T across the globe on internships in Australia, The Gambia, The Netherlands, Argentina, and so on. Apart from gaining unique experience in their specific field of study, these also allow for visits to cultural highlights, and a chance to meet up with locals.
Recruitment missions
Seperate delegations also visit a total of 19 Chinese universities, presenting our programs, recruting new students, and negotiating collaboration agreements.
Group T has always paved the way for both its students and staff to engage in intercultural exchange, on campus and across the globe. The University College's network serves as an essential tool.
