The Hanban Visitation Committee
The Confucius Institutes of the 'Università à degli Studi di Roma, La Sapienza' and the 'Università à degli Studi di Napoli, 'L Orientale' in Italy and that of the Spanish University of Madrid are being evaluated up until October 30, 2008.
To this end, The Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban) put together a visitation committee. Johan De Graeve, Group T's President and Vice-chairman of Hanban's Human Resources Committee, was invited to participate.
Other members include
- Liu Chuangsheng, Chairman of Hanban's Human Resources Committee and of Beijing Normal University
- Chen Xiangsheng, Vice-president of the Hunan Provincial Department of Education
- Hao Fanghua, Director of Beijing Normal University's Office of International Exchange & Cooperation
- Zhang Junli, Director of Hanban's Division of Finance
- Cao Diefeng, Vice-director of Hanban's Division of Development & Planning
- Wim Polet, Director of Group T's International Office and of the Confucius Institute Leuven
The committee members were present at the opening ceremonies in Turin and Pisa as honorary guests and are also visiting Barcelona's Confucius Institute.
