UNESCO
UNESCO wants to contribute to peace and safety by promoting cooperation between and inside of countries. Central themes of its body of thought are peace and human rights, citizenship, intercultural learning, and sustainability.

Associated Schools Project Network

To spread its message, UNESCO founded the Associated Schools Project Network. This offers educational institutes a framework to spread the UNESCO body of thought via innovative projects and this according to the Four Pillars of Education: Learning to Know, Learning to Do, Learning to Live Together, and Learning to Be.

UNESCO-SCHOOL
Each and every educational institute is able to develop a UNESCO project. But to obtain the official status of a UNESCO school, the institute has to spread UNESCO's message in the longer term.

This is exactly what Group T-Leuven Education College does: its teacher training is entirely grounded in the Four Pillars of Education. Various cultures also receive full attention via innovative projects such as the Postgraduate International Educating Class.
