Formula Zero
Formula Zero, the very first international race for hydrogyn fuel-driven vehicles, will be organized in Rotterdam on Friday, August 22. The Belgian team consists of a number of Group T-alumni.
The Zero Emission Racing Team came about when a number of former Solar Team members decided to take on a new challenge. Winning the design competition with a preliminary sketch paved the way for the development of a gocart running on hydrogyn fuel.
The Solvay and Umicore funded cart reaches 120 kilometers per hour and weighs less than 185 kilograms. In time, a proper racecar is to be built.
Six teams participate in the two-day event. Apart from the Belgians, a Dutch, English, Spanish and two American teams will be present. Why not make the trip to Rotterdam to support the Group T-team?
