Wednesday, May 28, Group T-Leuven Educating School's final-year students once more colored the atrium of Vesalius Campus. Spread over about 60 stands, they presented the multi-cultural projects they carried out both in Belgium and abroad. A convivial event at which everyone could get a feel of the commitment displayed by future Group T-teachers.
The project 'dewereld@groept' (theworld@groupt) allows Group T's educating students to discover what it is like to teach in a multi-cultural setting. Aim is for the teacher trainees to establish a more comprehensive outlook on today's world and to broaden their horizons. Some visited centers for asylum seekers, an international or European school, or youth centers within Belgium's borders. Others chose to carry out their project abroad, during two-month-long internships in Norway, Italy, Martinique, Vietnam, Gambia, Bahrein, ...
