A massive amount of Group T students and staff venture out of Belgium on study trips and missions around the world.
Apart from gaining unique experience in their specific field of study, the trips also allow for visits to cultural highlights, and a chance to meet up with locals.
Over 100 bachelor-students from the Engineering College, accompanied by staff, cover the distance all the way to China to meet Chinese students on campus and visit companies such as BASF, Alcatel, Janssens Pharmaceutics, Barco, etc.
The Teachers College is sending students and staff to Thailand to breathe in the atmosphere and learn about the inner workings of local schools.
In other parts of the world (South-Africa, the USA, Martinique, Sweden, Spain, ...) educating students are finalizing their projects and internships.
Around the same time, a couple of Group T-delegations visit several countries in Asia to recruit new students and discuss the Hongzhi Scholarschips.
Nearer to home, bachelor- and master-students of the engineering programs go on company visits in Berlin, Copenhagen, and Genoa. Their travel schedule includes, amongst others, Volkswagen and Noxxon Pharma.
Group T has always paved the way for its students and staff to engage in intercultural exchange, both on campus and across the globe. The University College's network in Europe and Asia serves as an essential tool.
