The Nuon Solar Team of Delft Technical University has, for the fourth time in a row, won the World Solar Challenge. Yesterday, at exactly 16:55 local time, the Nuna 4 crossed the offical finish line in Point Vale, only five minutes removed from the deadline.
At 8:00 this morning, the Umicore Solar Team continued its journey. At 9:13 local time, the Umicar Infinity crossed the finish line, 41 minutes ahead of the Australian Aurora Team.
Congratulations to our boys and girls down under for this magnificent achievement!
The prizes will be awarded the day after tomorrow, during an official ceremony at the town hall of Adelaide.
