Spare Parts Management at BASF Antwerp

The aim of this project is to optimize the spare parts management at BASF Antwerp. Recently, the company carried out a far-reaching reorganization of its maintenance department. As a result, it is now the turn of the spare parts warehouses. This project combines and tests modern maintenance concepts and optimization models for the management of spare parts for their practical usability and performance. The project must result in a new framework that is capable of optimizing the spare parts management in interaction with the implemented maintenance concept.
