Independent Internship Abroad

The Leuven Education College’s final-program stage students can do an internship of six to nine consecutive weeks in a country of their choice. Destinations can range from European countries to more exotic places across the other continents—think Guatemala, Kenia, the USA, or Curaçao. Students decide on a destination themselves, or pick one from the Team Internationalization’s offering.

These students take on a full-time assignment following the educational system at the host country. Apart from teaching, they can also be involved in extra-curricular activities, participate in school meetings, design didactic materials, coach students when doing homework…
