The teaching profession is changing at a rapid pace. By the time our students graduate, they will have to be able to do more and different things than today's teachers.
They will of course have to be able to teach properly, they will become co-responsible for the upbringing of youngsters, will have to communicate with parents, and collaborate with colleagues. Students should be aware of the responsiblitites and scope of their future profession. They will be confronted with new tasks and an educational system and society characterized by a swift advance of technology and an exponential growth in knowledge. In short, their tasks as teachers will become richer, more varied and more challenging.
