The professors are organized into teams. These are arranged according to a field of study or on the basis of the program they provide education for. However, aside from this, they also see to public service and thematic scientific research. The deans manage the departments, together with the managers (Leuven Engineering College) or coordinators of these teams (Leuven Education College).

Team managers organize and direct the team's activities, guard that courses are tuned to each other, exercise quality control, and are responsible for the equipment and budget of the labs.

Team coordinators Leuven Education College
Team coordinators are responsible for the global educational program of the graduation tracks: within the framework of  these tracks, they program and coordinate the curriculum and the contributions of the units. Apart from that, they also coordinate activities such as internships, company projects, etc.
