Hongh Zhi Scholarships

The Hong Zhi Scholarship Fund is a Group T initiative that gives talented Chinese students from less privileged rural communities the opportunity to come study engineering in Leuven. The Chinese Ministry of Education and the China Scholarship Council support this initiative.

The Hongh Zhi agreement was signed by Xue Huanbai, Counselor at the Embassy of China and Johan De Graeve, President of GROUP T in the presence of Louis Tobback, Mayor of Leuven, Zhang Xinsheng, Vice-minister of Education of China, Guan Chengyuan, Ambassador of China and Professor Cha Jianzhong from Beijing Jiaotong University.
